I haven't received my activation email

Please check your spam/ junk folders and make sure it wasn’t placed in their by mistake. Make sure and add our info@comixcentral to your trusted senders list to prevent future communications from ending up in the trash.

If you can’t locate the email, please contact us and we’d be happy to activate your account manually.

How many times can I download a Comic I bought digitally and for how long?

Currently the download limit is set to unlimited and the length is forever.

What format will the Comic I download come in? How do I read it?

Our Digital Comics are in a PDF format. You can read them on your e-reader, smart phone, tablet and computer. Any device capable of reading a PDF (which is most). Check your device for compatibility.

Can I resell the Comics I download?

No. The download is available for your own personal use only.

Can I learn to become a Comic creator on ComixCentral?

Yes! We highly encourage it! Check our Class Room, Forums and Blogs for help achieving your dreams. We look forward to your creations!

What is My ComixShop and how can I open one?

My ComixShop is vendor store for selling your Indie Comics.

Anyone can apply to become a vendor. Simply click the Apply as Vendor box on the sign up form when signing up for your account. Or, if you missed that button, you can select “My ComixShop” in the top menu and follow the instructions.

Commissions

Digital Comics commissions:

  • 5%

This means you keep 95% of every sale.

Vendor payouts

When one of your products is purchased your commissions will be deposited into your account. Track your earnings in your Account (you get paid every month via Paypal - with a 30 day per purchase grace period from date of sale).

What format do digital Comics have to be submitted in?

All digital comics must be submitted in PDF format. Failure to do so will result is your submission being rejected.

Are there going to be more ways to sell and share my work on ComixCentral?

Yes! As we move forward, ComixCentral is committed to bringing our members Print on Demand, WebComics, Direct from Seller, artwork and merchandise!

How many Comics can I sell?

During our Beta testing period we are limiting the Comic Upload limit per ComixShop to 10. We will review this number once we have more information and understand our data load better.

What kind of Comics can I sell?

At this time we are only selling Digital Comics.

As for genre? Anything goes as long as it’s Indie and does not contain any licensed characters.

Do I have to sign a contract with ComixCentral to sell my work, and can I upload my work on competitors sites?

You do not have to sign a contract to sell your work on ComixCentral.

You may continue to have relationships and contracts with anyone you choose. It’s a free GD society!

Who owns the rights to the Comics I upload for sale?

You and whoever you created your work with will always own your own content on ComixCentral. You are free to edit it, remove it and price it however and whenever you see fit.

Can I sell merchandise featuring licensed characters I don't own the license to?

Nope. Sorry fan artists!

You may share your fan art on your profile, in your projects tab, forums and groups.

Who sets the price for my Comics?

You do kiddo!

Can I link other sites I distribute my work on in my profile?

Yes you can! At this time we have links for Patreon and one for your offsite Webcomic. If you would like to add additional links to your Profile page, contact us with the links you would like us to add and we’d be happy to link those up.

Can I share my ComixShop and commissions with other members on the site?

Not at this time.

But this is a feature we understand the importance of and are working on implementing.

Can I submit a contest or special offer to promote myself?

Yes! Please contact us and let us know what you’re thinking. We’ll let you know if your contest or special offer is approved and post it on the Specials and Contests page!

How do I submit a blog post, review or tutorial? Do they have to be approved?

Blog posts, reviews and tutorials are submitted the same way via the same form. Once your article is written, select the category would like your post, review or tutorial listed in in the category dropdown list.

Yes, Blog posts, reviews and tutorials must be submitted for approval. This is to prevent spam an articles that have no reference to Indie Comics. If you have a good track record of submitting quality content with a low rejection percentage, our admin may remove the approval process from your account and allow you direct upload.
