There’s Plenty of Emmas in the World

“Matt Smith is a brilliant cartoonist and he’s only just begun. Where most autobiographical comics tend to be pleasantly mundane, revolving around the artist’s immediate circle, Matt has expanded upon this convention in planetary terms. He and his wife are globe trotting international cartoon stars, in the middle of a giant art project that spans cities, countries, continents, hemispheres and languages. Strap in for the ride!” – Gareth Gaudin, Magic Teeth, Legends Comics

This collection features over 50 autobiographical Smith vs Smith comic strips from 2015 and 2016 as well as brand new material.

Matt Smith is a Canadian cartoonist, teacher and filmmaker. He has lived all over the world including Malaysia, Japan and Kuwait. Matt’s comics take a humorous look at marriage, travel and cat ownership.

His most recent book, There’s Plenty of Emmas in the World, documents the first year and a half of his marriage as he and his wife and their two cats leave Kuwait, spend a rainy summer in Glasgow, and move to Victoria, BC.
