Very unique art-style and crass language along with misterious story lets you immerse yourself greatly into the sh*thole where Rags is stuck in the fight of her life

RAGS is a quality book. Well, written, rendered, and is more than just Tn’A in the Zombie Apocalypse. The protagonist, Regina ‘RAGS” Ragowski (I think that’s her full name) is naked & afraid but she is running from more than just zombies & human assholes, she fighting the demons of her past, the harsh realities of life many of our military face in combat, and more importantly in civilian life. And if that were not enough, she just can’t seem to find a good pair of pants. We n a world of crappy titles from the big players in the industry, this small intrepid band of creators has crafted a kickass book in the tradition of The Walking Dead, but may have even more to say in the subtext. My only complaint about this book? Where’s the damn uncensored version, you mooks? Buy this series. Support these creators. Promote RAGS. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers!

It’s not often that Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder gets portrayed accurately in media of any sort, much less comic books. The protagonist in Rags is going through the worst parts of PTSD and survivor’s remorse. Even without the zombie menace she would be having a rough time of it, with the zombies and the resulting societal stress, she’s got to fight through it just to survive for another five minutes. Will our protagonist make it to tomorrow? Will she ever find a pair of pants?

I’m loving how this new take into the overused zombies genre went from “silly with a hot chick” to “holy fuck this is actually pretty cool”, thedrawing is awesome and the coloring brings out whats is the most important for the protagonist, wich is cool. The only negaitve part is the unrealistic lack of clothes in clothing stores, people stealing clothing like its food in a zombie apocalipse.

Waiting for issue 3 guys, hurry up!

Good book, the crux of the matter will sadly go over most peoples heads as I saw in a lot of twitter interactions that said, solid art, good writing and characters that could very well be a person you sit next to on a train or in a taxi thrown into a unbelievable situation dealing with very real problems. it’s refreshing change on a tired trope.

    patiently waiting on book 3

Brian Ball- Writer / Co-Creator of RAGS: is a 16 year Army veteran who has decide to sell all of his belongings to tell his magnum opus. A story that involves trying to find a purpose after you leave the military, and finding that battle buddy who’ll pick you up after you’ve fallen off the wagon. Also loves the smell of coke.

Trent Luther- Creator/ Plot development: is arguably the brains behind the whole thing. Hates the spotlight but is getting mentioned anyway for legals reasons.

Artwork by Luigi Teruel. (Place Holder line to say something witty about Luigi. Don’t forget to delete this later. But you’re probably going to forget aren’t you? AREN’T YOU!!!? Seriously delete this.)
