When disgruntled professional wrestler “Rock n’ Roll” Rory Landell declares himself “galactic champion of the universe” a planet of alien wrestlers views it as an act of war and invades Earth! Date With Destiny is the first of a hilarious six-issue miniseries Newsarama calls “A must for wrestling fans, but such a delightfully weird debut issue that anyone can jump right in expect to have a fantastic time.” (C.K. What a fantastic comic in this day and age, time period when wrestling comics are not so common. Has the feel of not only the golden age of wrestling with the likes of Macho Man, Jake The Snake and Jesse Ventura but also the sense of 70s and back wrestling too, which is totally awesome. The story leads in with an almost Mickey Rourke like Wrestler story of a bit of the downhill times from the fame. But next thing you know, a new arena and championship are waiting. IN SPACE!!!

Great fun times are had, filled with fantastic artwork and classic yet fresh characters. Come on by and take a read.
