With renewed focus the story of Hitoshi the undead ronin twists and turns to its conclusion. The goal is still clear but the path is a mangled mess full the unexpected.

Synopsis:
Disgraced samurai Hitoshi has settled into a quiet life as a Ronin and family man when his world is turned upside down.
Borrowing from Japanese folklore, witness an action/horror adventure that puts an Undead Ronin against a series of fierce monsters that will twist and turn to its epic conclusion. Will the fate of post-feudal Japan be in the hands of men or monsters?

After a totally awesome graphic novel of Dead Ronin, issues 1 – 4 comes the next installment in the series. It has been a little while since, full on creator, Luke Brown has worked on the comic and this comeback is something else. The first round of issues were already superb, with totally sweet artwork and a great samurai story mixed with monsters and demons. But the art in 5 has just been dialed in to 11 and even has a more serious tone to the drawings, which I think is the right choice. Plus Luke seems to get so much information across on each page, with highly detailed renditions of the old school, Ronin world.

Like taking what was already a fantastic read and then going that extra level up in the continueing saga of Dead Ronin. So come on by and give this series a read, best to start at the begining but fun times await you once you get here. If you dig Samurai X, Samurai Champloo, Akira Kurasawa flicks and throw those Japanese monsters in too. This book is for you. Or if you’ve never been down the road to old Japan, here’s your gateway. Enjoy the adventure to come.
